ABOUT
Encore Dance Academy has been a leading dance facility in the southern Arizona area since Betty Worley began the studio here in Willcox in 1966. Since that time it has grown with each passing year to offer even more classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, drill, musical theater and gymnastics to the community. Encore Dance Academy also has a competing company team. Please contact Miss Amy if you are interested in the challenge that company dance presents.

Amy Truschke
Owner/Instructor
Amy is the owner of Encore Dance Academy, and has been dancing since she was 3 years old, and on pointe at age 12. Amy was on the Eastern Arizona College cheer squad, and has been an instructor and choreographer for over 15 years.
Cynthia Mortinson
Instructor/Choreographer
Cynthia has been dancing since age 3. She was a competitive dancer in high school and a cheerleader. She also danced tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and classical ballet for fourteen years prior to becoming an instructor and choreographer.
Ashley Miller
Gymnastics Instructor
Ashley started gymnastics at age 5 and was in competitive gymnastics until high school, winning the level 5 all-around state title. She has coached gymnastics at all levels from "Mommy & Me" to competitive teams.
Katie Hill
Instructor/Choreographer
Katie started dancing when she was three years old, and has been an instructor and choreographer for over twenty years. Katie has also been a local instructor for seasonal productions by the Moscow Ballet.
Katie Hamilton
Instructor/Choreographer
Katie has been dancing almost her whole life. A few of her teenage years were spent dancing right here at the Encore studio. Katie loves to challenge the minds and bodies of young dancers with creative and challenging choreography.
Riley Hilburn
Student Assistant
Riley has been dancing at the studio for many years. She has helped as an assistant in the 2017 season and loves to help children learn how dance can benefit their lives.

Tina Nuebauer
YOGA
Tina has been a part of the Encore family for many years. She has taught all levels of gymnastics, and is currently the instructor for our adult Yoga classes.
Barbie Nickasche
RIPPED
Barbie has been the instructor for our Ripped classes for 3 years. If you are looking for a low impact beginner level cardio workout, Barbie's Ripped classes are for you.
